Why fat gets accumulated only in stomach region?

Slim stomach is a dream that every individual sees and struggles for it throughout their life . They do a lot and lot of exercise , dieting  but stomach remains as it is . Many complain that their whole body is fit just the stomach has a fat accumulation . Hence, the question arises why it is so .? Men have the tendency that most of the fats get accumulated on stomach while women has a complain about accumulation of fat on their hips . The main factor responsible  it is imbalance of hormones .

1. Testosterone. :

It's a male hormone . Due to its effect only or most commonly fats get accumulated on male stomach and their internal organs 
Due to accumulation of huge fat an apple like shape starts appearing on male stomach and this makes them look fat . Fats bring with them several problems like heart disease, colorectal cancer , sleep anemia , high blood pressure and thus increases the chance of many health reated disease . 

2..Insulin :

When this hormone gets disbalanced , then the remaining energy of our body starts getting accumulated as fats in stomach. This leads to increase in fats of stomach and also leads to diabetes .

3. Cortisol :

Due to high stress and lack of sleep the release of cortisol hormone in our body increases to a great extent . Hence the body goes to calory saving mode and hence it starts assembling energy in the form of fats . It also starts water retention which makes our stomach look fat.


4. Estrogen :

Imbalance of this hormone leads to accumulation of fats on women's stomach also as in case of men. Basically after menopause PCDO named disease leads to reduce in estrogen level in female and increase testosterone level in male .


Some other reasons behind increasing fats in stomach region :

# Trans fats : 
People who consume bread , biscuits and high calory bakery products , their stomach looks swollen most of the times . The main reason behind it is transfats , some salts and some harmful preservatives added in that products . These leads to swallowing in stomach and also becomes a reason for water retention .

# Alcohol :

What should we do ?

We can't change our genetic makeup , can't change our face but can surely change our life style . Changing our life style is in our control and its in our hand . To reduce fat accumulation around stomach , we should take balanced diet . Doing exercise for about 30 minutes per day can't reduce 100% fats but atleast it can help to control .
